Description
In the tanning process the collagen fiber from the leather is stabilized, after the tanning the hide is no longer susceptible to putrefaction. Various agents can be used for hide tanning: mineral and vegetable tanning. Although the aim of the vegetable and mineral tanning is similar, the application, product obtained and the processes itself are completely different.
