Ground to Good™- recycled PET Flake
6.3
Description
To produce rPET flake, bottles are collected from streets, homes, businesses, canals, and landfills around Haiti and sold to collection centers around the country. The collection centers then arrange for the bottles to be transported to a central processing facility (Haiti Recycling). At Haiti Recycling, the bottles are sorted, shredded into rPET flake, and cold-washed with detergent. That rPET flake is then transported to the U.S. to be hot-washed (at EZ Products).
