Nylon 4.10, bio-based
206.5
Description
The dataset covers the cradle-to-gate system of biopolyamide 4.10 production. The dataset includes secondary data on biopolyamide 4.10 production and the overall quality is good. The dataset can be used as representative for the average production of polyamide 4.10 in countries where textiles are typically manufactured. Polyamide 4.10 is produced by polycondensation of tetramethylene diamine (TMDA) and sebacic acid. The TMDA and Sebacic acid inputs are stoichiometrically calculated: NH2(CH2)4NH2 (TMDA) + C10H18O4 (sebacic acid) -> H[NH(CH2)4NHCO(CH2)8CO]OH + H2O.
