Cotton fiber, Cotton made in Africa (CmiA)

14.0

Description

The data set covers all relevant process steps / technologies over the supply chain of the represented cradle-to-gate inventory with good overall data quality. The dataset is based on primary data representing average cultivation practice of cotton under the Cotton made in Africa initiative (CmiA) in the Ivory Coast and Zambia without irrigation. The system boundary ends with the gin gate. Economic allocation was applied to allocate burden between main product (lint) and by-product (seed).

Impacts
