Heat setting, textiles

4.8

Description

Heat setting process for synthetic fiber-based textiles in a wet bath. Assumes that multiple processes (scouring, bleaching, heat setting, etc) would be applied in a single bath. Includes estimations of chemical auxiliaries, water, and energy use. Liquor ratio of 7.5:1 15% loss of water used, remaining water is treated and returned to system.
